0th bit/Everdrive forums aren't fully working due to wrong id's from importer. (fixing just takes time) 0th bit posts will be added. Only major issue is the importer copied html/classes which show so need to find a way to strip/convert. this was caused from converting html rips back to SQL. This archive doesn't contain emails/private messages/ip's as we could only convert what google could see/crawl.

Saturn modding questions (USA location, JP console)

I've got a white Saturn who deserves good treatment. FYI presently it plays burnt games, but is <span style="text-decoration: underline">not</span> region free. With that said, onto the Q and A. Is there a mod to increase the internal memory capacity? If not, how about the backup RAM...

mega drive 1 multi region mod

Okay it's easier to try a RGB cable. Likely what tutorials made in Europe are showing, and will have color on most SCART TVs. You should ask someone more experienced for the details. I'm not a modder myself.

mega drive 1 multi region mod

This takes more than a toggle switch to work correctly. A PAL console at 60hz (or an NTSC console at 50hz), is running in an unintended state. Messing up things like the color encoding. RGB can help, but isn't a perfect fix. Some TVs are fussy about video sync rates. If I remember...

Question about making a Star Fox 2 PAL reproduction cart

We don't know whether a PAL version of Star Fox 2 exists or in fact entered development. Nintendo didn't originally announce the game for Europe in the 1990s, and the SNES Classic Edition is an NTSC console regardless of country (only officially supports NTSC roms at 60hz). By the way, no...

    XEN8 Gamecube modchip issues

Modchips can play imports without using a region switch. (after all there's no region switch mod that goes either into PAL, or from PAL) The problem is that modchips do not, in actuality, change the region of the Gamecube. Some games have compatibility issues if they detect the system...

Xbox OG: Best version for widescreen hacks?

You could patch and burn ISOs, if load times don't bother you. A softmod by itself enables DVD-R. (no HDD upgrade necessary) 1.6 has issues with 480p in some games. Though PAL systems I've heard never officially supported the high resolution modes regardless.
