Hi megavolt, could you post the patch for

Rayman 2 - The Great Escape v1.002 (2000)(Ubi Soft)(PAL)(M5)

Thanks!

Anthony, I'm not technically inclined, but I'm hazarding a guess that the static artwork borders might complicate what you want to do with Under Defeat. They are probably opaque layers above the 3d gameplay area. You might need some kind of code to move those off screen or get them not to display (if that's even possible) in order to get the wide screen gameplay field you want to see.

Hi guys, long time i wasnt here. I realized there a lot of new widescreen codes using the patch method, but few Code Breaker codes. Is there any one who can convert the new codes to Code Breaker, please?

</div> As Aleron Ives States I am also used to play using my original games, I will add patching is the least method in flexibility terms. I use different TV screens according the game, as an example a Led in 16:9 or a CRT in 3:4. So using patches I have to burn 2 disc per game just to use the patch method? Is also not handy in that way. Way better is use methods you can use optionally with original games or different screen ratios. In fact in Gamecube and PS2 the widescreen methods are taking that way in Swiss and OPL. Is always better think on methods usefull for everyone.

I prefer patch directly on data but it's right for original games it's not possible.
You have some list already I guess like this one :
<a class="externalLink" href="https://segaretro.org/List_of_Dreamcast_widescreen_codes" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">https://segaretro.org/List_of_Dreamcast_widescreen_codes</a>

There is a way to change hex patch to code breaker but I dont know how to do exactly.

It runs great for the most parth and the widescreen hex patches are perfect for the Switch screen

</div> HIgh Megavolt, just reporting that this code and the Grandia 2 one has clipping on the right side of the screen it does render correctly on the left one though

For Grandia 2 I try yours <a class="username" data-user="72521, @Esppiral" href="https://assemblergames.com/members/72521/">@Esppiral</a> and you had done it by a different way than <a class="username" data-user="97145, @megavolt85" href="https://assemblergames.com/members/97145/">@megavolt85</a> your screen is more large for me and I notice more clipping at the beggining of a fight with your hex widescreen hack. But very well during fighting.
Add it with the 60FPS patch, on my real dreamcast, the game crash but maybe I had something wrong...
Do you think it's possible to have a better result ?

The bios can be hacked to display some cool effects too.
I really like this one, reminds me of the Ps3/Ps4 wave.

Wow, hope <a class="username" data-user="46971, @japanese_cake" href="https://assemblergames.com/members/46971/">@japanese_cake</a> can see this and add the reflective waves! I really like how it looks! Would be nice to see if he could add widescreen and this fix to his next custom bios.

Is this related to that 3d bios that we unlock with the vmu save? Or something totally new?
