    0th bit/Everdrive forums aren't fully working due to wrong id's from importer. (fixing just takes time) 0th bit posts will be added. Only major issue is the importer copied html/classes which show so need to find a way to strip/convert. this was caused from converting html rips back to SQL. This archive doesn't contain emails/private messages/ip's as we could only convert what google could see/crawl.

KOF - Which game had the most selectable characters?



Hey everyone,

I know people are rather polarized as to which KOF iteration people feel is the best, but does anyone know which one contains the most playable characters? I have a suspicion that it might be 98, but I'm not exactly sure!

Some of the PS2 ports just added in tons and tons of extra characters, like from Neogeo Battle Coliseum.

How about which MVS version of the game had the most selectable characters? Was it 98? 2003? I suppose all the strikers in KOF 2000 don't count as separate characters or that would be the most by far.



Ah, yes. If we counted the striker system, 2000 would win for sure. I guess maybe just MVS games? In that case, It might be 2001 I think. Slightly edges out other games in terms of character count, but is also tied with the baggage as being one of the poorer KOF games out there.
